Our Programs

Playlab Field program

The Playlab Field Program supports emerging visual artists from Musanze District — giving photographers, poets, dancers, and filmmakers the space to explore, document, and interpret Rwanda’s extraordinary natural and cultural landscapes.
Through curated field visits to sites like the Volcanoes region, participants produce original work, build their portfolios, and develop their creative voice in the places that inspire them most.

Musanze Week

It is a week-long cultural festival hosted at Playlab Arthouse that celebrates creativity through film screenings, performing arts, and visual art exhibitions. The festival creates a vibrant platform where artists and audiences come together to share stories, ideas, and experiences. By bringing different art forms into one space, Musanze Week aims to strengthen cultural exchange and inspire new generations of creatives in Northern Rwanda. It is a moment when the region gathers to celebrate art, community, and the power of storytelling.
